Stan had a special friendship with each of these artists. Appreciating their work and them as people. Ask any of them to share a story about stan and you might find it hard to stop at just one (or ten).

They each have stories to share about Stan, the lessons Stan taught them about creativity and life, and the inspiration that he was to them and their careers.

ROB PRIOR

Rob Prior is a multifaceted multidiscipline fine artist and illustrator renowned for his dual-handed painting technique, creating weatercolor potraits in his distictive style. This work is part art and part performance art, with an image taking shape in front of the audience’s very eyes.

Prior began his career young, extending his talents to Marvel, D.C., and Image Comics, among others. He has worked on branded campaigns for Budweiser and Nikon, and video games like Ghost Rider.

His work in comics has contributed to franchises like Spawn and Heavy Metal, as wll as Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Prior has also painted live on stage with famous musicians like Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, and Steve Aoki.

BURTON MORRIS

Internationally celebrated Pop Artist Burton Morris stands out for his vibrant and graphic portrayals of American icons and elements of popular culture.

Morris’s early fascination with 1960s cartoons and comic books significantly shaped his artistic approach. Drawing inspiration from comic strips and magazines since his youth, alongside his use of rich acrylic colors, he infuses his art with a unique style and an optimistic outlook.

Morris’s career took off after establishing Burton Morris Studios in 1990, where he refined his style and gained fame through his artworks’ appearances on over 150 episodes of the hit sitcom “Friends” and collaborations with high-profile brand and events, including Absolut Vodka and The Summer Olympic Games.

BILL SIENKIEWICZ

Bill Sienkiewicz is a multi-Eisner Award-nominated artist known for revamping the style of comic and graphic novel illustration.

He is most noted for Marvel’s Elektra: Asassin, Moon Knight, and New Mutants-ispiring FX’s Legion and Disney’s New Mutants-and his acclaimed graphic novel Stray Toasters. He earned two Emmy nominations for his work on the animated series Whre in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?

Sienkiewicz has also contributed on-set and promotional artwork for Spider-Man: Into the spider-Verse and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, The Batman, Dune, Moon Knight series, 2018 Halloween remake, Logan, The Grinch, The Green Mile, and Unforgiven.
